Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day (PAILRD) is an annual remembrance day that is observed in North America on October 15. In recent years, it has also been observed in the United Kingdom, Italy, and some states in Australia. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan designated the month of October as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
